Niclas Höglind
plays the guitar and composes. Niclas began as the musical leader of Unit in the autumn 1997.

Kristofer Johansson
play drums and percussion. He began in Unit in February 1998..
 
Education:
1976 - 1986  Kommunala musikskolan .
1986 - 1987  Värnamo Folkhögskola, musikinriktning .
1990 - 1992  Fridhems Folkhögskola i Skåne 
                   thereafter he has been working as a freelance musician.


Teaching:
1988 - 1989  Växjöskolornas Music Corps (drums and percussion) 
                   he's also been a private teacher on and off since 1994.

Peter Janson
Plays double bass and joined Unit in September 2003.
He was born in Karlstad, Sweden, in 1960 and as the youngest ever he received Karlstad Culture Scholarship in 1985.

Peter has been active on the Swedish and international jazz scene for more than twenty years. He has played or is still playing with the following groups:

ARP, AALY, Änglaspel, Triple Heater, Oriental Wind, 9 Swans Repeat,
Peter Janson Trio, Radiojazzgruppen and Per Henrik Wallin Trio.
 
Apart from being very active as a bassplayer Peter Janson also composed music to several plays exhibitions, slideshows, documentaries and radio recordings for large and small orchestras.

Peter has made several  CD- TV- and radio recordings. 

In 1999 he was asked by the Swedish Radio to write two hours of music for the annual "NORDIC MEETING". Among the handpicked musicians were the English saxophonist John Surman and percussionist Alex Riel from Denmark.

Peter has been praised through out the years for his astonishing technique as well as his creativity. His playing has been described as being both deep and virtuous in reviews in Sweden and abroad.
